Skoda Estelle

This may be a long shot but there may be someone who can help me out. In the 80's Cars and Car Conversions magazine apparently modified a Skoda Estelle for rallying. There were 3 articles published and then the car was offered as a prize in the October 86 issue, so I am told. I cannot find when the conversion articles were published however. I am particularly interested in the engine conversion details. Does anyone have back copies that they can look through and let me know when the articles were published so I can try and get back copies. Alternatively if anyone could photocopy the article/s I would be only too please to pay. I can be contacted on 01228 530555 or myke@talkgas.net

Way to go in Class Three

Interesting day at The Enfield Pageant last week.

Lee Lawrence had his Escort there complete with Zetec Engine.

Is this the way to go in Class 3? Why not if you are allowed a Type 4 engine in a class 6 Beetle.

More stuff, including a picture of the MCC's new Class 2 Ready Mix Lorry on my blog. http://spaces.msn.com/members/classicalgas/
