Can anyone help with an invitation so I can get a Gmail account? I need an invitation as in the UK this is the only way you can get one. VW Beetle

My son Jim is looking for a pair of tatty doors with glass and 1/4 lights, or glass and 1/4 lights and mechanism to finish off his 1970 roadgoing beetle.

 

There must be at least one trialler with old VW doors begging for a good home.

Ford Popular Trials car?

I know of an upright Ford Popular that may have a competition history as came from Essex and sports a Raymond Mays front suspension.

 

Was fully restored and MOT'd but I bought the engine for my Dellow now the owner is selling the car on with engine out but a spare 100E and Aquaplane etc.

 

Reckon it would make great trials car as all the welding was done to a good stanard then dry stored since.

Michael has Moved

Just to let you know I have moved, which is why I have not been very active on Classical Gas recently. Unfortunately its not a permanent situation as "things" aren't sorted yet. Have yet to let people know my new address but hopefully the Royal mail re-direction service will work!
